Pay Per Click Campaigns Enhance the Fortune of Search

The Top search engines these days are flourishing due to the amazing performance of the pay per click campaigns that are carried out by them.

The pay per click campaigns have made the top search engines, extremely powerful, both in prefession as well as in pocket. I say this because, I recently read an article, which stated that, one of the top search engines Yahoo, has a market value of $45 Billion and could be even more now, coz the article I believe was written a couple of months ago. This shows that, the growth of online marketing and pay per click campaign in particular is amazing and has got a lot to do with the current outburst of e commerce, where more and more websites wish to be visible online.

The increase in the demand of pay per click campaigns in the search engines, also indicate a paradigm shift of people's interest from the typical search engine organic methodology to the comparatively swifter paide service. This interest can be supported by a number of reasons and the primary one amongst them is the fact that paid campaigns are comparatively faster in responding to results. They are quicker in nature and have a more flexible results indication in comparison to the organic searches. Where organic search results are completely in the hads of the search engines and its indexing algorithm, the pay per click campaign can be tracked by the users, they are monitored and decided by them too.

The only problem with these search results is that they are more commercial in nature and at times are not very reliable. They are nore promotional than user friendly. Though they are financially more beneficially to the search engines, just hoping that they do not capture the entire search market making it more of a commercial hub than a place of information.

Don't Forge To Monitor Your Pay Per Click Ad

Pay per click ads are great means of growing your Online business, but it is extremely important to keep a track on what is going on with your campaign in order to stop being mislead.

Every time I talk on par per click, I tell everyone to keep a track on their pay per click campaigns. When I say keep track, I do not intend to aim at only the scam bit of the campaign, which definitely is a serious matter of concern and requires attention, but I also want all web marketers to check the efficiency of their campaign itself.

Beginning with the basics first, let me tell you that it is always beneficial to run your PPC campaign on a number of keywords. Not only this, make sure that the keyword content in each case is different from another and each of the keywords are bid for different positions in the search engines. As a matter of fact I would also recommend that you run the campaign in a number of search engines at the same time, in order to take out the best of your search engine marketing campaign.

While you are doing this, you will be able to find out which ad type, which keyword and which position is most beneficial to your website advertisement and you will be in a better position to market your products in future.

Talking about performance, it is not always that the clicks that are generated in the search engines, necessarily lead to sales. It often happens that the content of the pay per click campaign in not well written and tends to mislead the visitors, who click on the ad but do not find it relevant to their search. Therefore, it is extremely important that your clicks be well written rightly explaining the purpose of site so that no click is wasted as irrelevant.

Many a times, even though your content is perfect and your positioning is right your campaign tend to generate clicks that are empty. These are false clicks which are also known as click fraud. If your keep track of the IP addresses that are generating these clicks, you can charge the search engines for them.

So here I go again! Be careful with your pay per click campaign and don't forget to monitor them.

The Side-Effects of Google Keyword Trademarking Policy

The new trademark policy introduced by Google has already moved several bidders out of the game.

Even before the new trademark policy for Google keywords was launched, it was predicted that the policy would result in a massive fall in bidders. According to the changed keyword policy, brands can now bid on their competitor keywords too.

Looking at the search results for some famous websites after the policy was brought into effect, it seems like a lot of advertisers are making good advantage of the situation. The big brands ar the biggest victims of the policy. Lastminute.com is having to face issues with other smaller companies who are making use of its popularity. As a matter of fact Lastminute.com is also suing Google for its Policy.

This policy is definitely a blessing to the SMEs as they can make use of the bigger players to play their game, but what about the credibility of the pay per click campaign which Google had enjoyed so far. Most established PPC campaigners are strongly opposing the new policy launched by Google.

Advertisers who are still left in the bidding game will have to maintain a high enough click through rate, in order to maintain their minimum CPC levels, in order to fight and survive in this game.

In one of the blogs I was reading on the topic today, I came across a great observation which stated that this upheaval in the pay per click market due to this policy is just a matter of time, and mostly out of the curiosity aroused in most people, and that this will soon come to a much more stable platform in a few days time.

Thanks friend, for your consolation. Hope things actually turn the way you predict.
